I could be biased, the author being my little brother and all....But he was extremely secretive about the book...wouldn't even let me know what it was about and made me wait until it was published to read it! But once it was read, this sister gives it about a billion thumbs up! I love everything about it, and cannot wait for the saga to continue in Book 2.....although I will probably have to wait to read it after it's published.....again! Sometimes there is no accounting for being family....LOL! Love the book Sean, and keep them coming!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Though I do not normally go for fantasy type novels, I am very glad I chose something outside of my wheelhouse. Once I started, I could not put this book down. It was unpredictable and fun - I found myself rooting for the main character and wanting to know more.
The story is not what you expect from a "vampire book"... every time I thought I had it figured out, there was a new twist I hadn't seen coming! A true page-Turner!
This book has a brilliant plot. It is a love story without the chick flick feel. It has emotions and action. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!
Great thriller with surprising ending! The plot was so intricate and was revealed at the perfect pace! Definitely recommend!
